Another late post... Hopefully I'll catch up soon.
Let me show what I did for this prompt. I started with three coats of Morgan Taylor go for the glow on my thumb and index. On my middle and index I have a coat of China Glaze daisy know my name. On my pinky I have three.
I then did a gradient with go for the glow and daisy know my name on my middle and ring finger.
Once it was dry I added a coat of Sinful Colors holo back over the gradient. Then I added some decals.
What do you think? I love how this turned out! Especially the neon.
Thanks for stopping by.

#52weeknailchallenge: half moon
I'm so behind with posting these blog posts, it's not even funny. And I don't want to update Instagram, because my blog posts are behind... Anyway, I took this prompt literally and had half moons on my nails. Let me show you what I did...
I started with two coats of Morgan Taylor under the stars on my thumb, index and pinky. On my middle and ring finger I have two coats of Morgan Taylor go for the glow.
What do you think? And which version do you prefer?

I had such doubt about go for the glow, but it's sooo pretty!! It's definitely one I will be wearing again. The half moons are decals I got from Aliexpress. If you don't have any I can really recommend getting a pack from Aliexpress, as long as you don't mind the wait. I have so many! I have even given some away.
I added a matte topcoat to the nails with under the stars and I loved it even more. What do you think? And which version do you prefer?

#52weeknailchallenge: Spring
I had a completely different idea in mind for this prompt, but then I couldn't find my inspiration!! I saw it ages ago and never saved it. So when I went looking for it, it was nowhere to be found. Teaches me for not saving it. Let me show you what I did though.
I started with two coats of Hean 903 on my thumb and index finger, on my middle two coats of Catrice good lack! On my ring finger is two coats of Pahlish golden Snidget and on my pinky is two coats of Essence you and me?

I then added a decal to my middle finger. Top coated and done.
I wasn't too sure on my colours, I thought they might be too dark for spring, but then there is flowers. And that's the whole idea.
What do you think? Spring enough?

#52weeknailchallenge: Winter
So, Winter is here. Very exciting, the wet, the cold and the lack of inspiration for a manicure. I had some pink snowflake decals that I've been wanting to use forever, so I decided on a pond decal mani.... Yeeeaaaah it didn't turn out that great. But let me show you what I did.
I started with a coat of OPI don't touch my tutu! on thumb, index and middle finger. On my ring finger and pinky I sponged on Tip Top snowflake and topped it with a coat of Tip Top snow capped for some sparkle.
I then added some decals to some of my nails, adding a coat of DTMT! (don't touch my tutu!) as I go. As DTMT! was so sheer I added another coat before adding another layer of decals. I wanted to add more, but since I'm known for overkill, I stopped there.
There is so much I like about this mani and so much I don't like it's just MEH. I mean there's VNL everywhere, DTMT! started to stain after a couple of days so it looked grey. Icky. Maybe I should have done this over? Anyway....

#52weeknailchallenge: negative space
I always wonder about negative space prompts... Are we using a stamping plate like Lina totally negative or are we leaving bare nail for everyone to see? I mean if you a true polish lover, you will have stained nails and generally steer clear of showing naked nails. Anyway, let me show you what I did.
I started with two coats of Pahlish dark mark on my thumb, index and pinky.
On my middle and ring finger I have a coat of OPI int'l crime caper. This is a super sheer polish with a great shimmer.
I then added some decals and that's done.
What do you think? I kinda like how this turned out.
I was wearing a patch on my index nail as it had a tear and when I removed the polish, dark mark actually stained the patch. So I had my very own dark mark!

Friday Triad: Inspired by Yulia
It's that time of the month again... I've been thinking a lot of my fellow Triad ladies. Joyce and her kitchen fiasco and Michelle and the flood and her house being flooded. I don't know how these ladies do it! I'm honoured to know them!!
Back to the Triad, Michelle chose this mani by @yyulia_m, surprisingly enough I also had this one tagged for recreation. I was slightly stumped as to how to do it, but eventually I chose a method and went it.
I started with two coats of Pahlish Nagini on all my fingers... On my index, middle and ring finger I used a nail art brush to leave a wavy gap at my cuticle open.
I then added some flower decals I got from Aliexpress. I contemplated stamping and colouring things in and then I decided to go for simple. I had to add a flash shot of Nagini to show how gorgeous it is and all the gold flakies are stunning!!
I'm certain the other two ladies simply knocked this out the park. So head on over to Joyce and Michelle and give them some love. I can't wait for Joyce to get back into the swing of things... I've been missing her blog posts and nail art.

#52weeknailchallenge: pastel
Another prompt I had no idea what or how I was going to do it. I decided to have a look through my decals hoping I would find something that would inspire me. And I did.
I started with three coats of Hean 879 on my ring finger and pinky. On my thumb I have three coats of Hean 225 from the summer collection.
On my index and middle finger I placed some full nail decals I got from Aliexpress. I tried to match the colours to the decal as best I could, but I feel the green is a little out of place. Even though there is a little green in the decal. 879 is stunning though.
Another easy no fuss mani.
What do you think? Should I have dropped the green?

#52weeknailchallenge: Halloween
I decided to use an old mani for this prompt. I originally did it last year for this prompt and I ended up using something else, so here you go. This was inspired by @nailsbyjema, the link for the original. Don't judge me too harshly.
I started with a coat of Ulta3 lily white on all my nails. I then did a gradient with Tip Top sea me now and crushed grapes on my pinky and thumb. Once that was dry I added a coat of Tip Top indulgence.
On my index, middle and ring finger I used the web vinyls from becauseishop and did the gradient with sea me now and crushed grapes, removing the vinyls immediately. I then added flower decals from Aliexpress.
I kinda like how this turned out. It doesn't have the crisp lines the original does and I'm not sure for what reason I added the glitter, but I like it. What do you think?

I also think I need to stop showing old mani's. Show them all at one time and done, no more, fresh start.

Friday Triad: Inspired by Bedizzlenails
It's that time of the month again where Joyce, Michelle and I post our inspired manis. This month was Joyce's turn to choose and she chose this (or rather her husband, as he wanted to see cemetery stuff)(There is no way she would have chosen this herself).
So I was drawn to the graveyard theme and I knew that was going to be my focus, I was also contemplating using a blue background, but I settled on a gradient. I started with 1 coat of Ulta3 black satin on my thumb and pinky. On my index, middle and ring finger I have a coat of Hean City Fashion white. For my gradient I used CF 197 (at my cuticle), 176 and 174.
I top coated and then added my decals. The pumpkin was a little sheer so I added a coat of white polish on the back, waited for that to dry, then placed it on my nail. And then my top coat melted it. (I need a rolley eye emoji right about now!)
I had to space my graveyard decals as it came in a single strip and I needed it for 6 nails! So the edges I just coloured in a little with a black striping polish which worked perfectly adding to the grassy look of it all.
What do you think? I rather like how it came out and the decals are worth a zoom, not too close though!

Do go on over to Michelle and Joyce's little spots on the webs and have a look at what they did... I'm quite interested to see what they did. And one more because I really do like how it turned out.

#52weeknailchallenge: feathers
Sometimes I have an idea of what I would like to do with some of these prompts and then come the time to actually do it. I do the complete opposite!! I intended to use some vinyls and have some pretty glittery feathers and then I went and used decals!
I started with two coats of Orly two HR lunch on my pinky, index finger and thumb. The rest has two coats of Catrice good lack!

Top coated and done. In case you were wondering, most of my decals are from Aliexpress. They sell packs of 50 sheets for $2-$4. I don't think I'll run out anytime soon.
What do you think?

#52weeknailchallenge: pink + white
This mani is somewhat inspired by @chitchatnails. I also decided to use gel polishes as I was planning on wearing these a little longer than a couple of days.
On my ring and middle finger I have Gel-It malibu and on my thumb, index and pinky I have Gel-It tigerlilly.
I tried to do a bit of a dry brush on my middle and ring finger with tigerlilly, curing in between the brush strokes. I also added some gold foil I got from Aliexpress.
What do you think? Tigerlilly is probably not quite pink, but it's close enough.
I had this on for 2 weeks before I took it off, as the foil was starting to discolour where it wasn't sealed properly.

Friday Triad: Inspired by Debbie (ladyandthestamp)
It's time for another Triad post. This month it was Michelle's turn to choose and she chose this mani done by @ladyandthe_stamp
I really liked the colour combo of this mani, so I decided to recreate it. I started with two coats of 3ina 505 on my index, middle finger and pinky. On my ring finger and thumb I have two coats of 3ina 507.
The flowers is from BP-L067 and I used Nicole Diary white stamping polish for it. I coloured it in with OPI keeping Suzi at bay and the leaves with 3ina 186. The studs are from Aliexpress and I stuck them onto my tacky topcoat and obviously I had to matte everything. I used OPI matte top coat for that.

3ina 505 and 507 are matte polishes but not a true matte as you see that my thumb in the first pic still has some shine.
For some reason I didn't take my normal flat hand picture, but I do have this odd one... What do you think? Of the hand pose and the mani? Don't forget to head on over to Michelle and Joyce to see what they did.
