I didn't have any set ideas when I started with this mani, because I didn't know what country to do, or do I just do 'country side', which is not quite the same. So I settled for a little of both. Let me show you what I did.
I started with a coat of essence shade of happiness, not worrying about opacity as I was going to do a gradient over. For that I used shade of happiness and Tip Top cherries in the snow.
I then stamped an image from BP-16 with Nicole Diary black.
On my thumb I have a zebra that is also from BP-16 and coloured in with Hean City Fashion white.
When I showed the Fiancé, he told me it's boring as I chose my own country... Which I obviously disagree, it might have been slightly predictable, but there is nowhere else in the world that people believe we have lions roaming the streets. Now wouldn't that be awesome. What do you think?

Friday Triad: Inspired by @clairestelle8
And just like that another month and year comes to an end. The 52weeknailchallenge is at an end and I'm getting ready for next year's and this is the last Triad post for the year. And lucky me got to choose it. I was considering choosing something Christmassy, but as we would post after I decided to choose something else.
So I ended up choosing this mani done by @clairestelle8. I've been wanting to try it for ages because I just loved the whole stained glass look. And I did get a stained glass stamping plate from Moyra, which I wanted to give a go. Let me show you what I did.
I started with two coats of Ulta3 black satin on my thumb and index finger, on my middle and ring finger I have a coat of Sorbet calm before the storm (it's a white) and two coats of Hean sugar 852 on my pinky.

I then started working on my stamping decals.... I first used Nicole Diary black to pick up the stamping image and to colour it in. For the butterflies I used China Glaze red-y to rave, treble maker and glow with the flow. Once that was dry I placed it onto the white base to keep the neon, neon.
I then used a nail art brush and black satin to change the white to black. Once that was dry I stamped the same image with Essence I still believe in Santa Claus over the butterflies, trying to line it up. Top coated and done.
I really liked how this turned out. And I got a few compliments on it too. Don't forget to head on over to Joyce and Michelle to see what they did. I'm certain they hit this one out the park.

Secret Santa mani's
Isn't it nice playing with new polishes and new stamping plates?
Here is some mani's I did while playing with my new things.
For this I started with two coats of WoW 427 on my thumb, index finger and pinky. On my middle and ring finger I have two coats of LA Girl cornflower. I then stamped an image from Essence shapes of glory with WoW 433 on my middle finger. On my ringer finger I stamped from Moyou Scandi 4 and coloured it in with China Glaze pearl jammin'
Here I started with two coats of Morgan Taylor go for the glow on my thumb, index and middle finger. On my ring finger and pinky I have OPI blush hour. I then stamped an image from Essence shapes of glory with WoW 422.
This is my favourite of the ones I did. I started with two coats of China Glaze lime after lime on my thumb, index, middle and ring fingers. On my pinky I have Tip Top galaxy. For the cotton I stamped from Konad 38 with Nicole Diary black and coloured it in with Hean City Fashion white.
This is the last one and was chosen by my Secret Santa Thea. I was told to do something, anything with ILNP Ava. I'm wearing two coats and on my ring finger I did a negative space with stamping from Konad 38 with WoW 433.

Friday Triad: Inspired by @hannys_manis
I'm so so sorry, this post is a little late!! I realised yesterday that it's due today and then I went and got sick.... The plan was to do the post last night but I couldn't keep my eyes open!
It's that time of the month where we pick mani's for inspiration and see what we can do. This month it was my turn and I chose this mani by @hannys_manis. The moment I saw this I knew I wanted to use Cirque pebble with it.
I started wit two coats of pebble on my thumb, index and middle finger. My ring and pinky has two coats of OPI don't touch my tutu!. The chevron stamp is from BP-L006 and I stamped it with mundo de unas old pink.
For the flowers I used eseence I still believe in Santa Claus as my stamping polish and an image from BP-73. I coloured them in with tip top heartbreaker and moyra SP16. The leaves I coloured in with essence play with my mint and toy apple smoothie.
Of course I had to mattify it and I love it even more!!
Thanks for reading and sorry again for the late post!!

#52weeknailchallenge: blue and yellow
You would assume that these colour prompts would be easier, but it's not... I had no inspiration for this. So I sent a SOS to our group of nail polish addicts and Michelle came to the rescue and one of the images she sent caught my eye. It was a mani from @de.lish.ious.nails Let me show you what I did.
I started with two coats of Hean City Fashion 169 on my thumb and pinky. The rest has two coats of Tip Top sunkissed. While that was drying I made some decals using my miracle mat.
I stamped the flowers from HeHe 43 with Nicole Diary white stamping polish, colouring in the flowers with CF 169 as I went. The centre of each flower got a dab of Nubar conserve. I painted a coat of clear polish over it and waited for it to dry.
I then used my clear stamper to place them on my nails... I was rather disappointed by this mani, it's pretty, but eventually the lines from the clear polish started showing.
What do you think? I'm so relieved that my pictures doesn't have the of lines showing, since I take my pictures immediately... The flaws start showing afterwards! I do love the colour combo too, apparently I have been doing a lot of green mani's. So this gives us a nice break from green.

#52weeknailchallenge: zodiac
So this post may be a little late, but I actually forgot that it was ready to be posted!
This prompt had me stumped!!! I googled zodiac and then the Chinese zodiac popped and I had to check under what year I was born and it was DRAGON!! And I was excited because dragon I could do... Aries on the other hand, no, just no.
I started with two coats of perfect chic green olive on my thumb and pinky. My index ring and middle finger has two coats of Moyra Holographic 253. To be honest I didn't like the formula on this, if I went over the same spot twice it dragged the polish, so I had to be super careful.

The dragon I got from stamping plate HĂŞHĂŞ 71. I used Nicole Diary stamping polish in black and made a stamping decal. The mouth I coloured in with Tip Top cherries in the snow and the eyes with TT gold mine. For the body I used green olive.
I then double stamped the dragon's body across my nails with TT gold mine and ND black polish. I then used a piece of a sponge to dab on green olive, gold mine and Sinful Colors green ocean under the body.
So there you go... That is my zodiac mani, what do you think? I'm kinda hoping this might be a prompt again next year. Maybe I'll be able to manage Aries then.

Friday Triad: Inspired by Lou Urban nail art
Aaaand I'm back again. Time for our Friday Triad. It was my turn to choose and I was going to pick one of the mani's I had tagged for ages and then this happened. And I knew we had to do it. So this mani is inspired by @urbannailart
I started with three coats of Dollish Polish should I stay or should I go. I then added a coat of Starrily eclipse over it.
In the meanwhile I also made some stamping decals. I used BP-L024 and Nicole diary black stamping polish. I then coloured in the leaves with Moyra holo polish 253 and Sinful Colors savage.
For the flower I used Tip Top heartbreaker and the gold is TT gold mine. Once it was dry I transferred it directly to my nail.
So what do you think? I used should I stay or should I go because it had a shift and I was hoping it would show, but alas. Hence the odd hand poses.
Flash shot to show off the holo and smile at the prettiness.
Don't forget to pop over to Michelle and Joyce and give them some attention.

#52weeknailchallenge: blue
Okay, blue is a bit of a double whammy. Besides that the polish is blue, the name is blue marlin. So two blues! Also this is a bit of an archive mani. I did it ages ago and then I started the challenge and never got around to posting it.
I started with two coats of Ulta3 blue marlin on all my nails except my ring finger. On my ring finger I sponged on Essence I love my golden pumps.
On my index finger I made a decal using stamping plate BP-75 and Nubar silver mist. I coloured in the centre using I love Hean 880 and 878. On my middle finger I stamped using the same plate and silver mist.
For my ring finger I made another decal, again from the same stamping plate, using essence stampy polish in black. Coloured it in with I love Hean 878 and 880.
I'm a little disappointed with the image on my index finger... I couldn't get the crisp lines I wanted. The bottom part of the image kept getting a bit smudged. Eventually I just made do.
What do you think? I really liked this mani, even with the stupid feather not looking how I wanted it to look.

#52weeknailchallenge: inspired by a video tutorial
My post is a little late today, because I haven't been feeling to great. But it's here now. Let me know what you think.
I learned something when doing this... Do NOT make decals the day before using them. They are too dry and hard then. Also don't try it when you in a rush. But it wasn't a complete fail.
I saw this tutorial by @clairestelle8 and I wanted to do something similar. So I started with two coats of Sinful Colors rise and shine on my thumb, two coats of SC dream on on my pinky, two coats of Starrily magic rainbow on my index and ring finger and lastly, a coat of SC snow me white on my middle finger.
For the horrid decals I used the same image Claire did from BP-L003 and essence stampy polish in white. The decals I used on my index and ring finger is coloured in with rise and shine and dream on alternating the colours. The decals on my middle finger I coloured in with Starrily magic rainbow.
I attempted to do a gradient on my middle finger, which since I was in a rush is not that great, because I first tried it with a sponge but then switched over to a fan brush as I didn't have the patience for multiple spongings.
So what do you think? It kinda grew on me, but it's not my best work.

#52weeknailchallenge: inspired by a game aka gambling
I had no idea what I was going to do for this prompt and I was checking out my stamping plates to find some inspiration. So I settled on HeHe 54 which had an image of playing cards and decided that was going to my theme. Playing cards.
I started with two coats of I love Hean 424 on all my fingers except my middle finger, which has two coats of Ulta3 lily white. I then stamped the clover image from BP-63 on all my fingers except my middle with Nubar silver mist.
While all of that was drying I made decals from the playing card image with essence stampy polish black and Sinful Colors snow me white. For my middle finger I made a decal from plate BP-63. The yellow is Hean City Fashion 171 and the red is Essence santa baby. Once the decals was dry I put them on my clear stamper and then placed them on my nails, to avoid bubbles and to get them where I wanted them. What do you think? Does this pass for a game? When I showed BF he said it's not a game, it's gambling... But hey, even that is technically a game?

Friday Triad: Inspired by Paulina's Passions
I had slight technical issues this morning so my post is slightly late, but here it is.
It's that time of the month again for our triad post. It was my turn to choose our inspiration, so I chose the first mani in this post done by Paulina. I like how the roses popped on the background.
For my base I mixed some black polish with clear polish, adding black to the clear until it was sheer enough, but not too opaque. The only problem I had was that it bubbled for some reason. The black geometric design is from plate BP 77. The roses from BP 73.
Since my clear stampers doesn't pick up my essence black stampy polish I had to make decals using my miracle mat. I also made stamping decals with the roses, colouring in the leaves with Essence beijos de brazil. The roses is coloured in with Essence santa baby (red), Orly two-hour lunch (dusty pink) and Ulta3 cherry taffeta (bright pink).
Once my base was super dry, I used a nail art pen from BPS to draw the border around my nails. While I was doing this all of those decals were drying, I then added them to my nails, only to have more bubbles form. And by adding top coat it just made more bubbles. So this was one bubbly mess, but it was pretty.
So yes I am moaning a little and it's not super obvious unless you look close, but I could see it every time I looked at my nails. What do you think? Does it do the original any justice? Don't forget to pop over to Michelle and Joyce's and show some love.

#52weeknailchallenge: autumn
This week's prompt is autumn and I was stuck on what to do. I had no ideas whatsoever. I eventually kinda settled on this as I went through my stamping plates in the hopes for inspiration.
I started with two coats of Tip Top army vibes on my thumb, middle finger and pinky. The other two has two coats of a HD polish with no name. I then stamped a leafy image from BP 19 on my index and ring finger with Tip Top lazy lizard. On my thumb and pinky I stamped with Essie leggy legend.
I made a stamping decal for my middle finger. The image is from BP 30. Stamped with Sorbet chic me baby. The leaves are coloured in with leggy legend, the HD polish and Hean City Fashion 167.
I'm not a big fan of this, but apparently everyone else liked it. So does this represent autumn? What do you think?
Thanks for reading guys!!
