I hope everyone else is enjoying this cold weather as much as I am. We got a new couch about 2 weeks ago and it's much bigger than the old one, so its nice to be able to properly snuggle up with a warm body next to you.
So sometimes a nail polish comes your way that just surprises you. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. This is one that surprised me in a good way. This is one (yes, one) coat of City Fashion 166. If you interested just click on the Glamore Cosmetics banner or the link to go directly to their shop.
I'm not a huge fan of nude polishes, but I do occasionally like wearing it. And this is already a favourite.
This is a bit of a busy mani. I think I tried too many things at the same time. But oh well. It was fun and apparently looks like a party under a UV light.
There is a mix of I love Hean 890, 891, 892 and 893 all from the Neon collection. On I middle finger I tried a needle drag, there's random dots and the stripes were a bit of a smoosh using the polishes. So it here it is looking like a party!
My colleagues thought it looked so cool under the UV light that they made me make it my WhatsApp profile pic.
What do you think? These neons are quite neon. And I love that they are UV light activated. It kinda makes them seem rather dull otherwise.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hean nail polish: City Fashion 109
I have another red polish from Glamore Cosmetics to show you today.
This is two coats of City Fashion 109. A red jelly looking polish. I haven't found a Hean polish I don't like. Regardless of the colour and all that. Anyway, so I saw a mani done by Jessica @dripdropnails and I was totally inspired. I used zig zag vinyls and City Fashion 177. So apparently this looked like hatching easter eggs... I don't know. Don't see it. What do you think? So I should have the I love Hean Neon collection ready by next week. I'm still busy swatching and editing my pictures.
Thanks for reading!

Hean nail polish: City Fashion 200
Who else is enjoying this cold weather? I'm loving it, but it's not that fun when I'm at work. Anyway, I tried another watermarble for this but it didn't quite work the way I wanted it to. But the end result of it is very cool.
This is two coats of City Fashion 200. Finally got a green. This is one of those colours that kinda grow on you.
I wanted to pair white with this and I thought a marble would look amazing, but then that didn't work. I eventually just swirled the two colours together in annoyance and left it to dry. The white I used was City Fashion 0t.
I love the end result. The swirls look so cool. On my index finger I used a wonky square vinyl, which in hindsight I think I shouldn't have used. I added a gold star shaped stud on my middle finger.
What do you think? Think I should have left the vinyl out?

Hean nail polish: City Fashion 194
I hope everyone enjoyed their Youth Day (for my RSA readers) yesterday while I was at work... I wanted to sleep late, but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. I have another stunning City Fashion for you today. There were loads of shades of red and I'm starting to wonder where my greens are at!
Anyway, this is two coats of 194. It really is a stunning polish.
I had a couple of the previous City Fashion's that I swatched on my table and while they were in arms reach I thought I'd do some flowers...
And look at that I can actually do five dot flowers! I've never tried it before, mostly because I wasn't too sure how it would turn out (read I was afraid to try it) and I didn't want to do it over and over until I got it to look the way I wanted it to look.
Rambling... So I used City Fashion 190, 178 and 169 for the flowers with a dot of 171 in the centre. I think it looks good, what do you think? I do have more City fashion swatches lined up, but then I got two stunning new collections from Glamore Cosmetics. The I Love Hean Neon collection and the Pastel collection. So I think I'll probably end up posting those before the rest of the City's.
Thanks for stopping by.

Sunset nails revisited
Who else just looks at some polishes together and have a bit of a light bulb moment? The polishes that I still need to swatch is all standing on my table, neatly in a row, and four of them just caught my eye. I knew I had to do sunset nails again. I showed you this mani in one of my previous posts. I started with a white base. This is two coats of City Fashion 0t. (Like really? Just call it white already.)
It's not bad as far as whites go. Dries very quickly, so I would suggest working quickly, otherwise you'll end up with bald spots. I do actually like this white, I normally use SC Snow me White, but this one isn't as stark. So I'll probably be reaching for this one more often.
I painted some simply peel around my nails and then I got my sponge ready and used City Fashion 197 at my cuticle, 190, 178 and 171 at the tip. Dab Dab Dabbed a couple of times. And voila. I love love how this turned out. Almost seems moody, but fun at the same time.
I added my palm trees and made sure to float my top coat as these decals are quite flimsy and it's almost like they melt if you brush over them too often.
What do you think of my revisited Sunset nails? You can find my first one here. Which one do you prefer? And to get any of these polishes just click on the Glamore Cosmetics banner.

Watermarble!
Yes you read that correctly, I have a watermarble today. I was playing with some of the City Fashion's and two of them looked amazing together and I wanted to do a needle drag, but I decided to try a watermarble. Since I mostly seem to screw up the dipping part, I decided to try it in the "create and contain" circles that is on the miracle mat. So I used a syringe to spread water in the circle and started dropping my polishes on the water.
The two polishes I used is City Fashion 171 & 176. The swatches for them you can find here in my previous post. They spread like a dream. I had no trouble at all. Once I made my design I carefully used a paper towel to draw up the water. The decals were dry in no time. I think if I had to leave the water it would have taken longer.
I used a white base before I added the decals, but I don't think it was necessary. And does anyone else also find that there are days that they just can't paint their nails? Get polish everywhere?
I was super chuffed with how these came out. Like I said normally I just screw it up, but these look pretty good. I actually want to try it again, soon.
What do you think? Gael from Glamore Cosmetics (where you can find these polishes) asked for a video to show how I did it... That is quite a scary prospect.

Hean Disco Fluo Coat
There's one benefit for me being at work on a weekend, free WiFi... So I was catching up on watching YouTube and one video that I ended up with is Christine from SimplyNailogical's Get Glow Nails. You can watch it here.
Anyway, I was asked to try out this Hean Disco Fluo Coat from Glamore Cosmetics.
According to the catalogue this is the description:
This fluorescent UV nail polish has nail whitening properties. In the daylight it restores the shine to discoloured and lifeless nails. In the dark it reflects UV light, providing a fluorescent effect.
So I was such a chop in not taking pictures in daylight with nothing but this, buuuut I always wear polish. So this is the mani I was wearing with this top coat.
I'll share this mani eventually, I promise. I painted one coat on middle finger and made random dots on my other fingers as I wasn't sure how it would look. The UV light picures wasn't taken in my normal setup, it was taken at work with the UV light the use on bank notes. I wish I had Christine's setup. Seriously.
It looks so cool! This would look awesome in a club.
I'd like to try stamping with it and see what it looks like then.
What do you guys think? While searching for a picture for the bottle shot, I didn't find any reviews or such on this... Guess it's not a big thing, but with Christine's video it will become HUGE. Oh anyone wanna send me a proper light box and a UV lamp? I'd love it.

Hean nail polish: City Fashion 190 & 197
It's great fun when you run out of internet with posts due and at least two weeks before you get more internet. We seriously need better internet. I actually had another post scheduled, but then I realised that I haven't edited the pics. Great.
Anyway, I did edit some swatches. So that is what you getting today. Both polishes covered in two coats.
This is City Fashion 190. I combined both these polishes in nail art that I will share later. Once I edit the pics. This is 197 and I love this colour. It's really beautiful. As I said both these polishes covered in two coats. And I personally think both are must haves. You can just click on the Glamore Cosmetics banner and it will take you to the shop.
What do you think of them?
Thanks for stopping by.
