Friday Triad; Inspired by @playfulpolishes

It's Triad time again!! This month was my turn to choose our inspiration, so I chose this mani by @playfulpolishes. I only realised after I sent the inspo link that it's very similar to a previous Triad mani, but no one complained, so here we are.

Funny thing about this, I meant to do it the weekend, sat down at my table and promptly started on my glitter mani for the challenge. Completely forgot about it. So this would have been a midnight mani, but instead I got up slightly early and did it this morning.

Let me show you what I have. I started with three coats of Essie turquoise & caicos on my thumb, index and middle finger. On my ring finger and pinky I have two coats of OPI DS pewter. I loved it so much from my previous mani, I decided to keep it.
I then stamped an image from Konad 35 with Moyra 253 a green holo polish that stamps. I then added another leaf image from Lina Summer 3 with Mundo de Unas avocado.
The animal print as a decal since I didn't have time for freehand (which I suck at anyway) and I didn't have a stamp with a small enough print.
So yes, it may be slightly rushed, but I love how it came out. It's exactly what I had in mind when I chose this!

So head on over to see Joyce's midnight mani and Michelle's I-was-done-a-month-ago mani.

#52weeknailchallenge: Valentine's day

And so we are at Valentine's day already... I know some people say it should be Valentine's day everyday, but this day gives the poor non romantic sods a day to try and do something romantic. And also give me nightmares about everything red, pink and heart-ey.

This was one of those mani's that could go either way. And I think it kinda went to wrong way... Let me show you what I did. I started with two coats of Catrice raspberryfields forever on my pinky and thumb. This is actually a one coater. On my index and middle finger I have three coats of Sally Girl fresh as a daisy.
On my ring finger I have two coats and multiple blobs of Sinful Colours love sprinkles. I was considering sponging it on, but I didn't want it opaque.... Ya, I don't know where I was heading with this.. Once everything was dry, I stamped some hearts over fresh as a daisy from Lina make your mark 4 with Nicole Diary NS05.
I kinda like it, but I'm not sure about my ring finger. Maybe I should have left it out and just used fresh as a daisy...
What do you think? Happy Valentine's day!! May your loved ones spoil you ;)

Thanks for stopping by...

#52weeknailchallenge: ocean

As usual my post is a little late, but hopefully I'll manage to stay ahead soon. This was a rather difficult prompt for me, as I had no inspiration at all. So I made a plea to our Secret Santa group and someone suggested waterspotting. And I went with it.

I started with two coats of a mystery polish from Pahlish. I have a swatch for you. It's a very pretty polish and I was surprised by the opacity of it. I was expecting at least three coats.
I then used OPI keeping Suzi at bay and an old perfume that I don't use. Dropped the polish on water, sprayed with the perfume and voila! I also used simply peel for the clean up.
I was considering using more polishes, but I didn't want to hide the base too much. Once everything was dry, I added the bubble stamp from HeHe 66 with Rimmel rock the metal.
The stamping gets a little lost, but all in all I like it. The mystery polish especially. It was a big surprise. What do you think?

#52weeknailchallenge: unicorn

Unicorn time!! This is another one of those love hate prompts. And possibly also one that's been done to death. So I went with something super easy. I recently got some new decals and these ones had a few unicorns. I also somewhat recently got Essence guardians of the unicorn, so what's more unicorn than decals and a polish that has it in the name.

I also have a swatch for you. This is two coats of guardians of the unicorn.
It's rather sheer and very finicky. You can actually see on my pinky where I capped it... Slightly annoying, but it is pretty. I then added the decals.
The unicorn's are galaxy-ish.
There isn't much to say about this, since it was very easy.
What do you think?
