It's that time of the month again for our triad post. Each month one of us picks a manicure for inspiration and this month it was Joyce's turn. She chose this mani by Sassy Shelly.
I had an idea in mind and when I started painting my nails, I just started painting and forgot that I wanted to do it differently. Fantastic right? So I just went with it. I started with two coats of piCture pOlish nebula on all my nails.
I then stamped a leafy image from BP-L001 with Nicole Diary black stamping polish. Top coated and that was it....
Oh and I added OPI matte top coat after that. Surprisingly the stamping was more obvious in my pictures than in real life. People kept saying my nails were plain!!
Can you imagine my shock and horror at people calling nebula plain???
So what do you think? I wanted to do something light and bright and then I forgot!

#52weeknailchallenge: french tip
One day I'm going to do the french tip mani I've been meaning to do for ages, but today is not that day.
Last year I received some Maskscara french tip water decals in my Secret Santa box and this was the ideal time to use it.
I decided to go for a natural look instead of painting my whole nail... So I started with my base coat and one coat of OPI don't touch my tutu!
I used my clear stamper to place the decals, so I could see where my smile line was and not place it skew... Which I'm pretty sure I did anyway!
What do you think? I actually really like how it turned out. And this has made me want to get more french type water decals!

#52weeknailchallenge: zodiac
So this post may be a little late, but I actually forgot that it was ready to be posted!
This prompt had me stumped!!! I googled zodiac and then the Chinese zodiac popped and I had to check under what year I was born and it was DRAGON!! And I was excited because dragon I could do... Aries on the other hand, no, just no.
I started with two coats of perfect chic green olive on my thumb and pinky. My index ring and middle finger has two coats of Moyra Holographic 253. To be honest I didn't like the formula on this, if I went over the same spot twice it dragged the polish, so I had to be super careful.

The dragon I got from stamping plate HêHê 71. I used Nicole Diary stamping polish in black and made a stamping decal. The mouth I coloured in with Tip Top cherries in the snow and the eyes with TT gold mine. For the body I used green olive.
I then double stamped the dragon's body across my nails with TT gold mine and ND black polish. I then used a piece of a sponge to dab on green olive, gold mine and Sinful Colors green ocean under the body.
So there you go... That is my zodiac mani, what do you think? I'm kinda hoping this might be a prompt again next year. Maybe I'll be able to manage Aries then.

#52weeknailchallenge: black and red
Whenever I think black and red I think something lacy or a sexy gradient... Since I have tried a black and red gradient before, I opted for the lacy look this time. I got a ton of lacy water decals from aliexpress and haven't found the inspiration to use them yet. So I thought this would be a great opportunity.
I started with two coats of Tip Top cherries in the snow on my thumb and pinky.

On my middle finger I placed the decal on the whole finger. The triangles I stamped from Lina feeling shapely 9 using Nicole Diary black stamping polish. Since this is my second attempt at this mani I knew I had to mark the middle of my nail before stamping otherwise it'll be skew.
I cut a small square from the decal to fit in the open space above the triangles on my index and ring fingers, leaving the line open in the middle. For my middle finger I coloured the space between the two lines using Tip Top gold mine. Once I knew my stamping wasn't going anywhere I painted the rest of my index and ring fingers with cherries in the snow.
What do you think? I was told this has a wonder woman feel to it... As I said this is my second attempt at this... The first time I did full nail decals on all my fingers, did the stamping and then painted my nails, but the decals showed through the polish and looked messy... Luckily I was on leave and I had a lot of spare time, but I'm back at work and back to not doing mani's twice!
And as always Thanks for reading!!

BeautyBigBang Review: Peacock holographic powder
I'm finally getting around to posting this review. This is for peacock holographic powder and I chose colour 9A. Let me show you what I did.
I started with two coats of Sinful colors black on black on my thumb, index and pinky. On my middle and ring finger I have two coats of Hean I love Hean 902. Once black on black was dry I rubbed in the powder.

On my middle and ring finger I stamped an image from BeautyBigBang plate 16 using the powder. I rubbed the powder onto my stamper and then used essence prom-berry as the stamping polish and picked up the image as normal. Once I stamped it, only the powder that had polish transferred.
I love this powder it has such a gorgeous shift from a green-blue to purple. And it has holo!!
The shift and holo is even obvious on the stamped images. I should mention that on the website they recommend using gel, but I opted for normal polish to see how it works and it works beautifully.
What do you think? You can go directly to BeautyBigBang and have a look what they have and you can use my code SARCA10 for 10% off normal priced items.

#52weeknailchallenge: autumn
I only realised the other day it's autumn and only because someone mentioned it. And it was only then that I started to notice the chill in the early morning air. Can't wait for winter, but I'm not looking forward to the damp it brings. It messes with my allergies. Let me show you what I did for this prompt.
I started with two coats of essence shade of happiness on my pinky and thumb. On my index, middle and ring finger I have two coats of Hean City Fashion white.
On my middle finger I did a gradient stamp with mundo de unas caramel, geranium and reddish. I then stamped 'hello autumn' with nicole diary black all from autumn 1.
What do you think? I really liked how this turned out.... And shade of happiness is actually a very pretty polish. I had my doubts, but pretty.
