Hean nail polish: City Fashion 171 & 176

How is everyone doing? Keeping well I hope. Today I have two swatches to show you. First up is two coats of City Fashion 171.
This is a very pretty yellow with a subtle shimmer to it. Reminds me a lot of Tip Top Sunkissed.
So that is the first polish. What do you think of it? Pretty right?

Next one is City Fashion 176. This is also two coats.
Who likes purple? Because if you do, you need this one.
So I combined these two colours for the art, but I'm not going to show it today. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know what I have done with it. They match perfectly together.

What do you think of these two? I would definitely get them if I was you. Just click on the Glamore Cosmetics banner and it will take you directly to their shop.

Hean nail polish: City Fashion #162

Yay another post. I should really get my shit together. I'm still kinda recovering from the break, but I've been swatching. So for the next couple of posts that is what will be coming your way. And they are all City Fashion's.
This is two coats of City Fashion #162. This is a tricky colour, it's purple but in some light it looks a deep red. I love it nonetheless. And if you one of those people that season dictates what you wear on your nails, this is a perfect shade for winter (my winter is just starting).
I got a beautiful textured gold polish from Gael some time ago, I was so surprised when I got it as it wasn't part of my order, but I got it because I'm special and awesome LoL. Anyway, I thought it would be awesome with this polish. It is 852 from the Sugar collection. And it covered 162 quite nicely.
I also recently received these awesome greek vinyls from Briget at becauseishop. Michelle hosted a giveaway and I was the lucky girl to win.
I would really suggest checking out B's shop, it's got some pretty cool vinyls and other things. And for the rest of this month she's running a special. Buy one, get one. I am patiently waiting for payday, so I can order some things. Also how awesome is this gold polish? I actually got a back up.
If you want this gold, I would suggest to hurry. There is only one or two left... And they have been discontinued by Hean. What do you think of 162? Is it not a beaut? Just click on the Glamore Cosmetics banner if you want to head over to their shop... I think they receiving new stock the end of May. Hopefully there's more new polishes!

Hean nail polish: City Fashion #177

How is everyone doing? Keeping well? I finally have something new to show you. I got some new Hean polishes some time ago and I've been meaning to swatch them, but I was waiting for my nails to grow a bit.
This is two coats of City Fashion 177. This one reminded me of Ordinary Misfit, which I think is from the Summer collection. I did a quick comparison on my miracle mat and there is an obvious difference, so getting both is an option. All available from Glamore Cosmetics
I had the three new City Fashion's next to each other on my table as they need to be swatched. They looked so good together so I thought I'd smoosh them together. And can someone please come up with a name for this technique? Some call it a saran wrap (I guess because you use plastic), some use stampers and call it a stamper smush (smush, smoosh, same thing) and some just call it smooshing (like me). I used 177, 43 and 162. I'll get around to swatching them eventually. And I used simply peel around my nail for easy clean up.
Anyway, I'm totally going to do what Eve over at Flight of Whimsy does, she would use the smoosh mani as one post and then the rest as another post. Two mani's for the price of one. LoL And does it not look amazing? It looks so smokey, except it's pink.
I wanted to do another cartoon nails mani for some time now, but I've always felt that it looks better on shorter nails. And since I have short nails now, I thought no better time than the future. I can't decide which one I like better, this one or my previous one. Which one is your favourite?
I used a black nail art pen from BPS for the border and SC Snow me White for the accent. I think it's so much easier with the pen to do the border than what it is with a nail art brush.
Have you ever tried it? Either the smooshing technique or cartoon nails? What is your favourite?
