I'm quite surprised with myself as to why I did not post this mani sooner. I mean, I loooooved this mani. I follow Cassis P on Instagram and I've always been a little envious of her awesome stamping skills and making stamping decals. I'm not copying one of her designs with this one, or at least I don't think so, but combining stamping and decals is kinda new for me.
I started with two coats of Essence Off to Miami! Actually to be very honest, I can't remember if it was one or two.
If you want to know for sure, just drop me a line or a comment. I'll be happy to double check for ya.
So starting to channel Cassis here, I decided to stamp a lace design from BP-L020 on all my fingers using Nubar Silver Mist.
So, maybe I cheated a little and didn't make my decals, but used decals I got from BPS.
I really loved this mani. It seemed so different from what I normally do. Stamping and decals! I also miss my length, I've had to shorten my nails slightly because of the stupid tear I keep getting on my ring finger.
If your not a follower of Cassis, I do suggest you follow her. She's pretty damn good at what she does. If you already follow her, what do you think of my mani? Does it do her justice in any way?

piCture pOlish: Nebula
And so another week is almost come to an end. I'm looking forward to the weekend, but it's almost always too short. I'm also slowly but surely working through my polishes and getting my swatches done. Mount Untried is still quite steep, but I'm not planning on swatching them all.
Today I have Nebula from piCture pOlish to show you. I got it from We Heart Nail Art, but Shann has decided to close down unfortunately.
This is two coats, without top coat. As you can see it dries slightly textured, but it's nothing a top coat won't fix.
I decided to stay with the "space" theme and stamped stars with Nubar Silver Mist from plate hehe 002. The star vinyl is also from We Heart Nail Art. I sponged on Tip Top Snow Capped and removed the vinyl immediately.
I've invested in a peel off base coat for glitters. So I don't have that pain of removing them, but I also don't wear it to often as I feel that it dries out my nails a bit. But not as much as it would have.
I'm also getting to posting my older mani's, since I got quite lazy to the end of last year. What do you think of this? I'm loving my vinyls!
Thanks for reading!

Hean nail polish 221 - Summer collection
Did every one have a good weekend? Mine felt like it was too short, since I was working. Anyway, I resorted to flowers for this mani. The polish is from the summer collection after all.
I started with three coats. You could probably get away with two, but I needed three.
The roses I stamped with Essence stampy polish in white from plate hehe 68, this plate is based on Studio Ghibli's Kiki's Delivery Service. The flower on my middle finger is from hehe 63, which is based on Arrietty. I haven't seen Arrietty yet and I only finished Kiki's this morning.
I blobbed on Hean 223 in the centre of my flower.
This was one of those mani's I kept looking at. It was quite distracting for some reason... Do you also get those?
I've been wanting to ask, I've seen bloggers take pictures of their tools and the polishes they use and I've seen others where they make a list of the stuff they used... How do you guys prefer it? The story, picture or a list?
Thanks for stopping by!

Hean nail polish: City Fashion #178
My post is a bit late today, but I was busy ordering myself some Simply Peel aaaaaaand (drum roll please) a Simply Neat Miracle Mat!! I've been saving since December for this waiting for their sale. And luckily the mat is half price, since it only went up for international sale yesterday. And you can get a 10% off coupon code. Can't wait!!!
Okay so this mani was a bit of a fail to start with. I'll start with the fail and hopefully a save and then show the swatch. I started with a stanping decal, which in hindsight I shouldn't have used, as my stamping failed me here. Like totally. After multiple attempts.
The stamping plate is BP-L025. Eventually, when my stamping sucked so badly, I resorted to doing a saran wrap (??) on my index and ring finger. I used the technique where you blob the nail polish on your nail and then use a piece of plastic and mush over it. I already had Simply Peel around my nail and I felt I needed to do something messy.
For that I used Hean City Fashion #168. Anyway, I used two coats of #178 on all my nails.
This polish is more pink in person than orange as it shows in the pic. I'm starting to understand why bloggers say they cursed with pinks.
What do you think of my fail? Do you consider it saved?

Hean nail polish: City Fashion #61
I wanted to post this yesterday, but waking up just before 6am and remembering I wanted to finish my post doesn't help. And there's no way I'm gonna get up at that time. That's just crazy.
So about today's Hean. I was a bit apprehensive about this nail polish. I adored it, coveted it, but I was afraid that it might show all of my nail flaws. Luckily it did not, much. This is a very thin one, so this is 3 coats with some VNL.
This is a very strange colour. It's very sheer, but it also doesn't look it.
I wasn't too sure what to do, so I ended up stamping and using some flower decals I got off AliExpress.
The decals were quite cheap. I think I paid about R75 for 60 sheets, with about 20 flowers per sheet. And I didn't notice any funny business when I used them.
The stamp is BP-42. I used Essence stampy polish in black. Lately my stamping is failing me... Not picking up the image or smooshing the polish on bigger images. So I'm not sure if it's my scraping or my stamper or just me.
What do you think of the decals? Stamping? Polish? Do you also have some very bad stamping days?
Thanks for stopping by.

Hean nail polish: City Fashion #168
So it would seem that I'm posting when I'm supposed to so far. Guess this new year hasn't kicked my ass just yet. How has it been treating you so far?
I swopped this colour with my mother. Gael (or Emma) from Glamore Cosmetics normally chooses my colours for me, since I can never make up my mind. But this time I wanted this one. And my mother took the last one.... So she was nice enough to swop it for one of my ones.
This is one coat! A thickish one, but one coat nonetheless.
And I totally thought cartoon nails when I saw it. I used a nail art pen I got from BPS some time ago for the border and a nail art brush with SC Snow me White for the accent. Top coated with OPI matte top coat. Well first with Glisten and Glow top coat and then the matte. It seems smoother this way and of course doesn't smear any art I did.
It's my first time trying this and I love it!! Afterwards when I looked at my pics it totally looked cartoonified. It was a very proud moment for me! Even BF said so. (And he doesn't normally compliment me.)
Like I mentioned, this was the last one, but I'm kinda sure Gael will get more of this... Her favourite colour is blue afterall. (Right Gael??)
So I decided to join the Nail linkup on this one. This is my something new. New polish, new art that I've never done.

It's a New Year!
Happy New Year! Hope it's been treating you well so far. Made any resolutions?
I actually did my nails for New Year and ended up staying home, as I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere.
I started with two coats of Tip Top Sparkle Queen on my thumb, index finger and pinky. On my middle finger I have one coat of SC Snow me White and a sponged gradient of Black Cat Lacquer Confetti.
I sponged Confetti on my ring finger. In the end I wasn't too sure whether or not the two went together, but who cares. Glitter!!
Hope you guys had a great New Years Eve and that 2016 will treat you well.
