I can't wait for this year to come to an end. When it comes to this time of the year I'm normally exhausted most of the time... And this time changes people too. It's like they more impatient and quicker to anger. I would know since I'm in the service industry, luckily I don't work retail anymore. I can't imagine what it's like anymore. I'd much rather do my shopping online.
One of my favourite online stores at the moment is Glamore Cosmetics. Since nail polish!! And today I have one to show you.
This is two coats of City Fashion #199. I keep thinking I need to say more about the colour, but I'd rather have the pictures do that.
Naturally it dries quick and shiny. I wanted to do some Movember nail art with this, but I have totally gone overboard.
I stamped images from BP-L012 on all my fingers with Essence stampy polish in black. And then I went crazy and added moustache stickers from BPS
As you can see I went a bit crazy with this one.
I don't know if it's just me, but it doesn't seem like the hype for Movember is that big this year. But then again I've been feeling a bit detached from the world around me. I haven't had much time to browse as much as I had before. Anyway....

Sassy in the City goes Sarcastic by Nature aka Twinsie post with Sam.
I seriously need to get my lazy ass moving... I have all these pictures that need watermarks and posts that need to be done. BTW for you who does not know this, but blogging is hard work. Sure it's fun and it's awesome knowing there's some lovely people reading and commenting and sharing and hopefully loving my work, but man, it takes time. I always thought 'what are these bloggers going on about?' but I get it now!
Today I have something absolutely awesome! A twinsie post with Sam from Sassy in the City. Now I'm sure there's a lot of you guys who know Sam and if you don't... What rock have you been living under? Sam is the bestest! She's always encouraged me and never said anything bad about my work ever. So the idea for today was, for her to do a mani and I would copy it. But then she didn't get to it and it fell to me to do the mani and she would copy it.
The theme she gave was dotticure meets zig zag. So I was like cool. And I came up with this...
And now as I'm rereading our messages I see that she set the colour too. White, purple and green... Oops (LoL) So I started with Hean t10 from the I love Hean collection.
On my middle finger I placed a zig zag vinyl as I wanted my dotticure to form a zig zag. Not sure if it worked. On my index and ring fingers I did actual zig zags with vinyls from Llarowe. I used Hean 276, 277 and 281 from the Jungle Pop collection for the zig zags.
I got the idea for the black and the metallic polishes from Michelle. I think she mentioned it makes them pop. Head on over to Sam's Facebook page and give her some love for her "Same same, but different" mani!
Before I finish with you guys, can you spot a difference with any of the nails in the pic above?? There is one! Thanks for stopping by!

Hean nail polish: City Fashion 164
So my post is a little late today, but at least I'm posting right? I've been neglecting my swatches a bit, bu I do have a couple coming your way again.
The first one up is Hean City Fashion 164.
This is a beautiful colour. Dries fast and obviously very shiny. It's only available from Glamore Cosmetics, so get it while it's hot. :)
I was a bit stumped as what to do art wise with this... And this is what I came up with... This is more or less what my stupid work unifrom looks like. White and beige stripes. To get this effect I used a fan brush and Tip Top Toasted Nuts and SC Snow me White. I didn't think it would be super obvious but people at work did notice the resemblance and even asked my why am I so crazy to do that as I'm always in uniform. Maybe that's why, I'm constantly seeing myself in these clothes, it was bound to end up on my nails eventually, right? I wasn't too happy with how it turned out, but it did grow on me... A lot. Now it's time to go and be stumped again as to what to put on my nails today. Any ideas?

Negative space and Tahiti
I hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine has been too short. Today's mani is totally inspired by jewsie_nails. I initially downloaded the pic from FaceBook and thank goodness there was a watermark, otherwise I wouldn't be able to credit her.
I started with 2 coats of Ulta3 Tahiti on all my nails. I got these polishes from BF's mom as a Xmas present. On my middle finger there is a bit of a negative space, for this I used a 'V' vinyl I got from We heart nail art. I added a silver square stud I got with my order of polishes from Parental Advisory Polish.
On my ring finger I used zig zag vinyls from Llarowe, but they are also available from We heart nail art. I top coated Tahiti before I added the vinyls and then one coat of SC Snow me White.
I was going to leave it as is, but I decided to add a matte top coat to my middle and ring fingers. Tahiti was so bright, it was hard to miss. Made me feel like everyone was looking at my nails! Guess that's the point right?

Go to mani for short nails
Like I mentioned last week, I'm going to show you my go to mani for short nails... I've been a bit unfortunate with the nails on my right hand tearing because they too long. Can you believe it? My pinky is a little nub, quite sad.
So because I didn't want to cut all my nails and I didn't want it to be super obvious when I do paint my nails. I decided to do something conservative.
I started with two coats of Tip Top Bare With Me... On my ring finger I stamped with SC Snow me White and BP-L020. I use whichever lace design tickles my fancy on the day. Top coat it and then I add a coat of Essence Matt about You. And yes, my thumb nail decided he was too long too. Stupid thumb!! It was quite funny wearing this, my colleagues actually asked me if there's something wrong with my nails. So what do you think of my short nails mani? I kinda like it. I also feel like I've seen something like it before... If you know where, let me know!
