#52weeknailchallenge: holographic

I started with two coats of Essence pink & perfect on my thumb and pinky. My index, middle and ring finger has two coats of Starrily magic rainbow.
For the gradient I stuck 1000 butterflies vinyl from Cherry Blossom Store to my Simply Neat miracle mat and used Essence red rocks, pink & perfect and the masked ball. I used a scraper to level the polish and create the gradient.
Once it was semi dry I painted a coat of clear polish over it, waited for it to dry and then peeled it off to place it on my nails.
Top coated after that. I really like how this turned out. And of course the flash shot just to show off the holo.
What do you think?

Friday Triad: Inspired by badgirlnails

It's time for another Friday Triad and today's choice was Joyce's. She chose this mani by Sonia @badgirlnails. Which is kinda funny as this was on my to-do list too. Guess I can double cross it off now.

I started with two coats of Essence rock my world! on my thumb, index finger and pinky. On my middle finger I sponged on Sinful Colours after party.
For my ring finger I painted on a coat of SC snow me white, top coated and waited for it to dry for vinyls. For my gradient I used rock my world! and Tip Top cyan can can.
Once that was done, I top coated and a coat of Essence matt about you over that. I left my middle finger as is. I placed some blue studs on my index and pinky on the slightly tacky matte coat.
They lasted all of half a day. So what do you think? I liked wearing this, it was also fun doing it...

Head over to Michelle and Joyce and give them some love.

#52weeknailchallenge: stripes

When I was looking for some inspiration for this prompt I googled stripe mani's and some zebra print ones came up. And I had one that I haven't shared yet.

I started with two coats of Essie leggy legend on my thumb, index finger and pinky. On my middle and ring finger I have a coat of SC snow me white. I then sponged on a gradient with I love Hean 878 and 880 from the pastel collection and Tip Top it's lime time. With lime time at the tip.
I then added some tigress vinyls from becauseishop and painted a thick coat of leggy legend over it, removing the vinyls immediately.
I feel like I should have rather used neon polishes for this, but the neons I have is not very opaque.
So what do you think? I think I nailed stripes.
Now I think there is an animal print prompt somewhere in this challenge.... Any ideas for that?

Thanks for stopping by!

#52weeknailchallenge: half moon

So for this prompt I didn't want to do a classic half moon mani. I got to BF chose the base which is two coats of I love Hean 466. The stamp is from BP-L020. And the silver is Nubar silver mist.
I decided to stamp the full design on my thumb and ring finger.
On my middle finger I decided to leave a gap in the middle and stamp a half moon at cuticle and nail tip. I did it by placing french mani guides and using simply peel in the gap.
That's my half moon mani. What do you think?

#52weeknailchallenge: inspired by a movie

I need someone to explain this to me... How do I, do all the things I need to do and all the things I want to do while still working a 9 hour day? I am some how expected to, after dealing with people the whole day, clean, cook, spend time with BF and have me time. Oh and I can't be a miserable bitch while doing that. I used to love to read and now I can't even remember the last time I finished a book.

Okay moan session over for now.... Kinda. Anyway, I totally cheated with this prompt... I was thinking of doing another anime movie as I have the whole series of HeHe stamping plates that was inspired by Studio Ghibli, but while I was looking at my polishes, I remembered this awesome one that Michelle gifted to me last year with our Secret Santa.
This is Feed me, Seymour!! Inspired by the Audrey II from Little shop of Horrors. I actually just watched it last week. And the whole time watching it, I thought how much they got this polish spot on.
I remember as I child I used to say: "No shit Sherlock", like all the time and now I know where it comes from!! Because Audrey II said that to Seymour when he explained his diabolical plan to him.
I can't explain how excited I was when I found this polish in my box... It was one I had been eyeing for a while and I even asked Michelle to get it for me when she ordered Dollish again and there she surprised me.
So what do you think? Of my blatant cheating and this awesome polish?

#52weeknailchallenge: red

I honestly enjoyed this prompt. Red is such a classy colour. And I did have a rough idea of what I wanted to do. I ordered some zip decals off Aliexpress and it came just before I did this prompt. So I cut out the decals and the ones that "opened" I put on my stampers and painted Hean City Fashion 156 around the open part. Once it was dry I peeled it off and fitted it to my nail.
For the other nails, they sporting two coats of 156 and a decal. Or just plain. You can also see my nail peeking through the little gap on my ring finger and thumb.
So this mani is pretty straightforward and easy.
What do you think? I really liked it. I still have some of the gold zips left and also some silver ones... So I'm trying to come up with something to do with the silver ones...
